Village of Sintra

 

           Sintra is a village with more or less 19 963 inhabitants; it’s seat of municipality and it’s situated at an elevation of 207m, in the north slope of Sintra’s mountain range that owns an incredible beauty and it’s one of the most famous tourism centers in

Europe and it also is one of the more frequented.

            This village was always disputed by the people that passed by Sintra, and  to her always were connected many episodes of Portuguese life.

            Sintra is a legendary place, with its valleys and mountains, so calm that brings peace to our souls with its inspiring fountains and its fascinating gardens.

            Thanks to these equalities and quotations this village is classified World Heritage by UNESCO. This village has  monuments as: The Moors Castle; National Palace of Sintra; National Palace of Pena; Convent of Capuchos; and  Saint Mary’s Church.
